Taking part is simple: Register and bid!

Registration will only take a few minutes. Once you have registered you will receive an email with your unique username & password. You will not need to register again to take part in future auctions.

Q. Why register?
A. We want everyone to feel comfortable with the knowledge that the auction process is safe & secure.

Q. How much will it cost?
A. L2.49 (of which L0.44 is VAT). After administration costs, any profit will be donated to charitable causes. Details are available on request.

Q. Are my details secure?
A. Yes. We use PayPal to process all transactions eliminating the need for us to keep confidential information. We will only be informed of your email address & telephone number if you are the winning bidder.

Q.How do I receive my password?
A.After making a payment on PayPal, you must click the ‘return to merchant’ tab to complete the registration. At this stage you will be asked for a username and contact details. An email will then be sent with your password.

Q. How long does my registration last?
A. There is no expiration date.

Q. What if I lose my registration details?
A. We’ll supply you with a new username & password. (For free!)

Q. If I bid on an item, how do I pay for it?
A.If you are successful, we will email you with notification. You will have 24 hours to pay a 10% non-refundable deposit and a further 5 working days to complete the transaction. If you do not complete the transaction in the allotted time, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder.
Unless previously agreed, each item should be removed within 14 days of the auction ending. If necessary we can assist with delivery. Please contact us for further details.

Q. Can I view the item before bidding?
A. In most cases, yes you can. Details will be included in the auction listing.

Q. Can I arrange a survey?
A. In most cases, you will be able to arrange a survey before the end of the auction. All costs of survey, lift-out, etc. will be for your account. Unless otherwise stated – all items are ‘sold as seen’. Once the auction has ended, you will not be able to negotiate further.

Q. How do I know each item is free of debts?
A. We endeavour to take all reasonable precautions to protect you and us. Each item will be sold free of all debts & encumbrances. Any outstanding debts (mooring fees, etc) will be paid from the proceeds of the sale.

Q. How will I know if VAT is paid or not?
A. This will be stated in the details.

Q. Are there any other costs involved?
A. Unless otherwise stated in the auction, the ‘Buyers Fee’ will be 3% plus VAT (Currently at 20%)

Q. I live outside the UK – can I take part?
A. Yes. Unless otherwise stated all auctions will be priced in GBP. For an up-to-date exchange rate, visit www.xe.com.
